Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to work in a correctional setting throughout North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide routine care, administer medication, and assist with medical treatments for inmates.
- Monitor and document patients' health conditions, reporting any significant changes to the medical team.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including RNs and physicians, to deliver comprehensive care.
- Assist in emergency medical situations as needed.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare standards and safety protocols within the correctional facility.
- Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K
- 1+ years of LPN experience within the last 3 years
- 1 year nursing experience required; 1 year psychiatric experience preferred.
- BLS from American Heart Association required
- Experience in correctional or institutional settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.
We pay weekly, offer competitive rates and benefits, and know you will be delighted with our service.
Location: Tillery, NC
Pay rate:
- 36-hour schedule:
- $1,620 per week - Breakdown: $25/hour + $720 weekly travel stipend
- 48-hour schedule:
- $2,260 per week - Breakdown: $25/hour for the first 40 hours + $37.50/hour for the remaining 8 hours + $960 weekly travel stipend
