Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care and services at a correctional facility in Virginia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with health professionals to deliver exceptional patient care while adhering to established standards of practice.
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Participate in the screening, evaluation, and care of inmates under the supervision of a physician and/or registered nurse.
- Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
- Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring stock of supplies is always available.
- Coordinate with other medical and ancillary personnel to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' condition.
- Provide appropriate nursing interventions in emergency situations.
- Comply with all state requirements and facility policies and procedures.
**Requirements:**
- Active Virginia license
- CPR Certification
