Position SummaryThe Pest Control Sales and Service Technician is responsible for delivering pest management solutions to commercial and industrial clients along a designated monthly route. This role requires efficiency and effectiveness while adhering to quality and safety standards. Services are provided in alignment with company policies, specific client protocols, and regulatory requirements. Accurate and timely service documentation is essential. Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients is crucial, as is proactively addressing pest-related issues. Effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders is expected. The technician will also identify opportunities to promote additional company products and services to existing clients and introduce the company to new businesses within the assigned territory. Proper maintenance of the company vehicle and issued equipment is required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality pest management services to clients.
- Achieve operational sales targets.
- Adhere to safety and driving regulations.
- Understand and comply with company policies.
- Complete Level 1 training within the first 120 days of employment.
- Complete Level 2 training within the first year of employment.
- Complete Level 3 training within 24 months of employment.
- Obtain necessary certifications and licenses as required.
- Meet individual sales goals for the assigned service center.
- Fulfill customer service delivery objectives.
- Achieve productivity and operational excellence targets.
- High School diploma or GED (higher education is a plus).
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record as per company policy.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience in pest management or route management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with pest biology and behavior is beneficial.
- Knowledge of pest control products and safety regulations is a plus.
- Proficient in using communication technologies such as handheld devices and email.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills in identifying pest issues.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
- Must meet all physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a basic math assessment.
- Efficient use of materials and adherence to schedules is essential.
The physical demands of this position require the ability to perform essential functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Incumbent must be prepared to:
- Regularly lift up to 10 pounds and frequently lift 11-20 pounds; occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force.
- Ascend or descend ladders and navigate various surfaces safely.

- Engage in activities requiring bending, crouching, and crawling.
- Utilize hands and arms to reach and manipulate objects.

Work Environment:
- Exposure to both indoor and outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures.
