We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Kimpton Epic Hotel. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience for all hotel guests.
Key Responsibilities- Registration and Check-out: Review arrivals, note special requests, and block rooms as needed.
- Guest Service: Check in and out hotel guests in a confident, professional, and friendly manner.
- Phone Operations: Answer all phone calls promptly and knowledgeably, ensuring complete and accurate information.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete all items on the appropriate checklist by end of shift, conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, and follow established key control policy.
- Financial Transactions: Ensure proper credit policies are followed, submit all lost and found articles, and open, secure, and balance out daily shift bank.
- Communication: Communicate with other departments, including Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer-facing role is preferred.
- Skills: Knowledgeable of the immediate area, services, attractions, and events; flexible schedule; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; and ability to work well under pressure.
