Bilingual ICU Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our ICU team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a Bilingual RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and leading our nursing team to achieve excellence in patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and technicians, ensuring adequate staffing and resources to meet patient needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating age-specific considerations and discharge planning.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, such as TJC compliance and Magnet Recognition.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- 2 years of direct experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting.
- Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo language skills.
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider certification.
- RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement.
