Position Summary:

The CNC Machining Specialist will be tasked with setting up, troubleshooting, and operating CNC machine centers. This includes performing manual data input (MDI) programming, inspecting parts with manual gauges and instruments, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, the ability to interpret 2D drawings and GD&T, and a dedication to producing high-quality machined components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operation of CNC vertical machining centers (3, 4, and 5 axis)
  • MDI (Manual Data Input) programming
  • Conduct inspections using manual gauges and instruments
  • Comprehend GD&T and read 2-D drawings effectively
  • Monitor and inspect parts throughout the machining process
  • Adhere to all company quality and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to share information and resolve technical challenges
  • Engage in Lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
