Role Overview:

  • Oversee and resolve issues within the vSphere ecosystem
  • Engage with hardware manufacturers to facilitate effective break-fix solutions
  • Manage and troubleshoot Cisco UCS and/or Dell systems with proficiency
  • Leverage your knowledge in VMware vSphere 6.7, 7, 8, Cisco UCS, PowerShell/PowerCLI, ServiceNow, and vRealize/Aria Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute infrastructure upgrades for vSphere 8
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold infrastructure integrity
  • Proactively assess scenarios to mitigate potential issues
  • Enhance infrastructure related to VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, and Dell
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting and root cause investigations
  • Engage in process evaluations and updates
  • Identify avenues for process improvement and automation

Required Qualifications:

  • Robust experience in virtualization and hardware diagnostics
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, and Dell hardware
  • Strong programming and automation capabilities, particularly in PowerShell
  • VMware VCP-DCV certification is advantageous
