  • Modify speeds and feeds for machining programs within established parameters for developmental work or made-to-order tasks, as needed.
  • Select and attach machine accessories and holding devices according to the manufacturing plan. Confirm that the apparatus is in good working condition. Identify and fabricate any necessary fixtures, shop aids, or templates.
  • Retrieve and upload CNC programs to the machine controller using computing equipment and downloading from various servers/databases.
  • Set machine coordinates or index points according to CNC documentation, including cutter offsets/compensations using controller keyboards, dial indicators, probes, shims, and edge finders.
  • Adjust machine settings (e.g., speeds and feeds) to resolve machining issues or prepare the machine for subsequent operations.
  • Submit completed jobs or in-process checks to layout or inspection at appropriate stages in the workflow.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience operating 3, 4, or 5-axis CNC machines.

  • Exposure to elevated noise levels and distracting sounds.

Compensation: $21-$41/hr
