Cardiovascular Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Care Specialist to join our team at the Red Sea Heart Center in Yuma, Arizona. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses.
- Conduct physical examinations and obtain medical histories, as well as order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and monitoring patient response.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and provide education on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as nursing or a healthcare-related field.
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program or a related advanced practice nursing program.
- Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant or a related advanced practice nursing license.
- Certification by a relevant professional organization, such as the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and protocols, as well as experience in airway management, occupational health, family planning, acute care, and infection control.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, such as Cerner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
