Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures, including coronary artery bypass, valve replacement, and complex aortic procedures.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, safety, and age-appropriate considerations of assigned patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and research in cardiovascular nursing.
- Active and in good standing Pennsylvania RN licensure.
- ACLS/CPR certification as a healthcare provider.
- 15 months of relevant professional nursing experience.
- Completion of the Nurse Residency Program, if applicable.
