Job Overview

Requirements
  • **Education**: Hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, with a completed residency in mental health.
  • **Licensure**: Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice psychiatry in the state of New Jersey (Forensic Evaluator designation preferred).
  • **Certifications**: Hold valid prescriptive authority (DEA and CDS) and current CPR certification.
  • **Experience**: Possess experience in mental health delivery systems, preferably in a correctional environment.
  • **Skills**: Demonstrate strong critical thinking, assessment, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as proficiency in Electronic Medical Records.
