Job SummaryAs a Radiology Technologist, you will provide essential healthcare services by utilizing x-ray technology to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting radiographic procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images.
- Exercising professional judgment while maintaining ethical standards in patient care.
- Identifying patient needs based on age-specific requirements.
- Ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction through service excellence.
Your role will involve:
- Performing all diagnostic imaging procedures, including emergency and surgical imaging.
- Assisting physicians in procedures requiring sterile techniques.
- Preparing and administering contrast media for radiologic exams.
- Assessing patient conditions before and during procedures.
- Carrying out additional departmental duties as required.
Education:
- Required: Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
- Preferred: Associate's Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
- Registered technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per policy.
