Job Summary

As a Radiology Technologist, you will provide essential healthcare services by utilizing x-ray technology to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting radiographic procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images.
  • Exercising professional judgment while maintaining ethical standards in patient care.
  • Identifying patient needs based on age-specific requirements.
  • Ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction through service excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve:

  • Performing all diagnostic imaging procedures, including emergency and surgical imaging.
  • Assisting physicians in procedures requiring sterile techniques.
  • Preparing and administering contrast media for radiologic exams.
  • Assessing patient conditions before and during procedures.
  • Carrying out additional departmental duties as required.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Required: Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
Experience:

One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:

  • Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
  • Registered technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per policy.
