- Ensure seamless integration of data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and streaming platforms.
- Optimize data processing and query performance by fine-tuning data pipelines, database configurations, and data partitioning strategies.
- Data Quality and Security
- Establish data quality checks and validations to identify and resolve data issues, ensuring high-quality and reliable data for downstream applications and analytics.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data throughout the data lifecycle, working closely with security teams to ensure data encryption, access controls, and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Collaboration and Innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Design and develop data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines.
- Explore new frameworks, platforms, or cloud services that can enhance data processing capabilities.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting
- Establish auditing and monitoring mechanisms to track data access and maintain data governance standards.
- Establish monitoring and alerting mechanisms to identify bottlenecks, latency, or failures, and troubleshoot data-related problems, investigate root causes, and implement remediation measures.
- Proficiency in GCP Services (GCS/GKE/BQ/Spanner/Composer/Cloud Logging/Compute).
- Hands-on experience in OpsGenie, Grafana, Prometheus, Open telemetry.
- Experience in CICD process.
- Strong knowledge in different Scheduling tools and Alerting Mechanism.
- Experience in Python/scripting.
- Good to have knowledge in operations support.
