Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient pulmonary care in our chronic hospital and to other patients of the Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with JCAHO, State, Hospital, and Departmental Standards.
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and analyze results to diagnose respiratory conditions.
Requirements
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification.
  • MDBPQA Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college).
