Senior Biostatistician

MD Anderson Center is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biostatistician to join our team. As a key member of our research department, you will be responsible for designing and executing analysis plans for research studies, mentoring graduate-level trainees, and collaborating with investigators in fields related to Anesthesiology, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine.

• Develop and implement data analytics and statistical modeling strategies for research studies
• Mentor graduate-level trainees in data science, biostatistics, or computer science
• Collaborate with investigators to design and execute analysis plans
• Conduct statistical analysis and data interpretation
• Communicate research findings through presentations and publications

• Ph.D. in Biostatistics or a related field
• Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in data analytics, mathematics, or statistical modeling
• Highly proficient in programming languages such as R, Python, C, SQL, or MATLAB
• Experience in fields related to Anesthesiology, Critical Care, or Pain Medicine
• Proven track-record of obtaining and supporting externally funded research grants
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Target base salary of $101,840 to $210,112
