LOCATION:

Hamadeh Educational Services, Inc. (HES) is a leading educational service provider dedicated to supporting PK-12 public school academies in the Metro Detroit area. We are currently seeking passionate and qualified individuals to join our Special Education Department as Support Specialists.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a member of the Special Education team, you will:
  • Provide individualized support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Assist in delivering tailored instruction aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and lesson plans.
  • Help plan and implement activities and projects that cater to the unique needs of students.
  • Contribute to maintaining a structured and conducive classroom environment.
  • Keep accurate records of students' individualized instructional activities.
  • Support students in daily classroom routines and ensure a safe and enjoyable learning atmosphere.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Adherence to the qualifications, guidelines, policies, and procedures for paraprofessionals as established by the Michigan Department of Education.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with K-12 students in a Special Education setting.
  • A willingness to engage with students across all grade levels within the Special Education Department.
  • Knowledge of the Arabic language is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in culturally diverse environments.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A flexible, open-minded, and self-motivated approach to teamwork.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
