Registered Nurse Unit Supervisor

Full Time | Day Shift

Salary Range: $108,000 - $118,000 per year (Compensation based on experience)

Role Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse Unit Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality resident care by:

  • Overseeing nursing care provided by a team of registered nurses and support staff, ensuring accountability and quality of care.
  • Conducting daily clinical rounds to assess patient safety and compliance with care standards.
  • Leading the care planning process, including initial assessments and ongoing updates based on patient needs.
  • Managing the admission and discharge processes for residents, ensuring all protocols are followed.
  • Participating in daily operational meetings to address patient care issues and report relevant information to senior management.
  • Collaborating with training coordinators to ensure effective orientation and ongoing education for nursing staff.
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and safety in all resident areas and monitoring supply levels.
  • Adjusting staffing assignments based on patient needs and staff qualifications, while overseeing timekeeping and scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Active RN licensure in good standing.
  • Infection Control certification is a plus.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Proficiency in IV insertion is necessary.
  • A minimum of five years of nursing experience, including two years in a supervisory capacity.
