Medical Equipment Repairer Job Description

As a Medical Equipment Repairer in the Army National Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring that healthcare personnel have access to functioning equipment to provide the best possible care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on medical equipment to prevent malfunctions
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic medical equipment
  • Install and configure medical equipment to meet specific requirements
  • Prepare and submit reports on medical equipment maintenance and repairs
Required Skills:
  • Experience working with electronic test equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and apply mathematical concepts to repair and maintain medical equipment
Training and Certification:

You will receive comprehensive training in medical equipment repair and maintenance, including hands-on practice and classroom instruction. Upon completion of your training, you may be eligible for certification as a Certified Electronics Technician at the Associate Level or Journeyman Level-Medical.
