Job Summary:

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and Develop Patient Care Plans: Utilize clinical reasoning to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Manage Patient Care: Provide emotional and physical support to patients and their families, ensuring a compassionate and professional approach to care.
  • Communicate Effectively: Assess patient and family level of understanding to provide effective communication and education, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with Medical Staff: Work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide Quality Care: Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN, with a strong background in clinical reasoning and patient care.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Education: Current RN licensure and certification in Labor and Delivery.
