Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain products while thinking beyond conventional methods to devise solutions or dissect technical challenges.
  • Produce maintainable, adaptable, and scalable code that is free of defects, adhering to development best practices and coding standards (e.g., software reuse, refactoring, CI/CD automation, secure development, TDD, static code analysis, peer/code reviews).
  • Establish testing protocols to enhance performance, directly influencing the user experience of our products.
  • Proactively uncover hidden issues and patterns in applications, driving improvements in code quality and system architecture.
  • Elevate the technical capabilities of the team and promote measurable enhancements in code quality.
  • Refine the accuracy of development timelines and mitigate delivery risks.
  • Provide mentorship to Junior Individual Contributors.
Qualifications
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional.
  • Certified Application Security Engineer (CASE) or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP).
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Over 8 years of proven experience in designing, developing, and testing enterprise applications.
  • More than 6 years of hands-on experience with Java, including analysis, design, and testing.
  • At least 6 years of experience with the Spring framework (all modules), Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring RESTful services, Transaction Management, and Spring Annotations.
  • 6+ years of relational database experience with a solid grasp of SQL and modeling concepts.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps and CI/CD automation using GitHub, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
  • Experience in performance tuning and code optimization.
  • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile best practices.
  • Experience in modernizing applications to a microservices architecture.
  • Good understanding of Oracle database concepts.
  • Knowledge of Angular/React is a plus.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess US Citizenship and the capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
