About the Role

At Neighborcare Health, we are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Consultant to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Behavioral Health Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, culturally-sensitive health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide brief behavioral health assessments and interventions for patients across the lifespan, addressing a range of psychopathology, substance misuse, and health-compromising behaviors.
  • Deliver services in accordance with the Primary Care Behavioral Health Consultant Model, including same-day access, team-based care, and a flexible, population-based approach to care.
  • Collaborate with psychiatric providers and utilize a panel management database to provide care to a subset of patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree (doctoral or master's) in a clinical mental health field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, with a focus on providing behavioral health care in a team-based medical setting.
  • Full, active, and unrestricted mental health license in Washington State, with the ability to independently bill for services.
