Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop molds using Siemens NX Unigraphics software
  • Conduct feasibility studies and design reviews to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness
  • Design new mold tooling supporting manufacturing machinery
  • Maintain accurate documentation of design changes and updates
  • Stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and best practices in mold injection design and manufacturing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer in the mold injection manufacturing industry
  • Experience with medical mold designs
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX Unigraphics is required
  • Strong understanding of mold injection design principles and manufacturing processes and knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
