We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on a part-time weekend program. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for positioning and immobilizing patients, selecting appropriate technical factors, and performing post-processing of computer data to enhance diagnostic quality.
Key Responsibilities- Position patients and select technical factors to ensure optimal diagnostic quality
- Perform post-processing of computer data to enhance image information
- Responsible for securing pertinent history from patients and their charts
- Compliance with established department safety standards
- Maintain appropriate levels of medical supplies and inventory
- 3 years general radiology experience
- 6 months to 1 year full equivalent MRI experience
- Completion of formalized MRI course at Junior College level or above
- IEMA License
- CPR Certification
- ARMRIT certification
