Responsibilities
  • Assist staff in providing a therapeutic milieu for patients
  • Document and report any changes in patient behavior to the registered nurse
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
  • Experience: Knowledge of mental health practices and related activities, as well as basic non-technical skills

This is a safety-sensitive position, and candidates must be able to work in a normal healthcare setting environment with continuous exposure to biological hazards. The ability to lift up to 100lbs, carry up to 40lbs, and push/pull up to 350lbs is also required.

Please note that this position is subject to overtime and callback as required by the hospital.
