Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead our cloud engineering teams. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, team leadership, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of mission-critical high-volume services
  • Contribute to strategic planning for the cloud engineering teams
  • Manage and mentor engineers, providing frequent feedback and evaluating performance
  • Provide strategic direction that aligns with overall company goals
  • Stay on top of tech trends, experiment with, and learn new technologies
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • 3+ years of experience leading software teams and managing performance
  • Comfortable managing team members with different skill sets and areas of focus
  • Experience partnering effectively across teams to manage scope, deliverables, and direct stakeholders
  • Experience developing web services and cloud technologies as scale
  • Understanding of large-scale computing solutions, including software design and development, database architectures, cloud computing deployments, security, and performance tuning
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15%
Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile Project Management experience
  • Experience deploying services into AWS
