Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse II to join our team at Alameda Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and ADLs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention and care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Minimum of six months experience as a Registered Nurse I with AHS or equivalent experience in a comparable setting.
  • Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred for positions in the Emergency Department.
