Position Overview:

US Oncology, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to enhance our Medical Oncology Department. This role is essential in delivering exceptional nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to both national and organizational standards.

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, providing a balanced work-life experience without weekend or holiday shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments by engaging with patients regarding their current health status and medical history.
  • Identify patient and family needs, providing educational resources and support.
  • Facilitate smooth clinical operations and enhance patient care experiences.
  • Manage medication refill requests, ensuring accurate documentation in patient records.
  • Coordinate consultations, diagnostic tests, and referrals, optimizing patient scheduling.
  • Triaging patient inquiries and documenting pertinent information in medical records.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Assist patients in accessing community resources.
  • Provide guidance and support to LPNs, LVNs, and medical assistants.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required.
  • Open to candidates at various experience levels.
  • Possession of a current RN state license in the practicing state.
