Mechanical Design Engineer Role for ATV/SxS Vehicle Development

">This Mechanical Design Engineer position plays a crucial role in the development of our ATV/SxS vehicles, focusing on prototype creation, technology application, and global product quality maintenance.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Develop component and system layouts for ATV/SxS prototypes using computer-aided design software, meeting concept targets, function requirements, and manufacturing requisites.">
- Communicate specification requirements and manufacturing control points via prototype and production drawings to set final specifications for global ATV & SxS new models and mass production vehicles.">
- Maintain accurate technical, development, and administrative documentation as required.">
- Adhere to cost targets for responsible parts, achieving targets through optimized basic part/system designs and offsetting spec changes after target fix through additional cost reduction ideas.">
- Create and manage individual work schedules to ensure deadlines are met, coordinate resource needs with supervisor, and effectively utilize contractor resources.">
- Generate basic ideas contributing to new technologies' evolution and support maturation of ideas for development applications.">
- Support market quality themes under direction from others, utilizing problem-solving methods to analyze root causes and develop C/M specs as necessary.">
Required Skills and Qualifications
">To succeed in this role, you should possess:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related engineering discipline.">
- Engineering experience desired, preferably in Powersports or Automotive field.">
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.">
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with staff and management.">
- Must be able to operate with a high level of confidentiality.">
- Competency in FTA, FMEA, dimensional tolerance stack-ups, and application.">
- Competent analytical, problem-solving, judgment, decision-making, and prioritization skills.">
- Competent drawing and layout skills, including understanding of CAE principles.">
- Competent in creating plans and schedules.">
- Competent in understanding product development schedules.">
