The University Park Care Center is seeking a skilled Nursing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care and services, promoting quality care, and working collaboratively with patients and families.
Responsibilities- Coordinate Patient Care: Develop and implement plans of care, assess patient needs, and prioritize care requirements.
- Lead Interdisciplinary Team: Direct licensed staff and CNAs, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure Quality Care: Monitor and evaluate patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Communicate Effectively: Provide excellent customer service, communicate clearly with patients and families, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Maintain Confidentiality: Protect patient confidentiality and maintain the integrity of sensitive information.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
- Education: Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Experience: Two years' nursing experience, with geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- Licensure: Currently licensed/registered in applicable State, with an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Certifications: CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation, with ongoing maintenance required.
