Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients, providing expert care and support to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions.
  • Develop and administer personalized treatment programs to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Document and record patient progress, including evaluations, weekly progress notes, re-certification, and discharge documentation.
  • Supervise and oversee Occupational Therapy Assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapist college or university.
  • Valid professional license and registration for the state of practice.
  • Experience in long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
