Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to become a vital part of our corporate team at FullSteam. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and possess a strong commitment to precision and accuracy.

Role Objective: To deliver essential operational assistance to the Payroll Manager by managing daily payroll functions within the administrative office.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm | Compensation: $19/HR | Reports to: Payroll Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and authorize weekly payroll for agencies.
  • Evaluate and sanction payroll action requests (PAR) from agencies.
  • Compile payroll cost reports for administrative accounting, ensuring timely submission for weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Examine federal and multi-state tax submissions for distribution centers.
  • Assist payroll supervisors at distribution centers with inquiries and problem resolution.
  • Act as a backup during the absence of the Payroll Administrator.
  • Engage in additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong communication abilities and a proactive approach to completing tasks independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional telephone communication skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and quick adaptability to processing methods.
  • Experience with Paychex is advantageous.
  • An associate degree in a business-related field is preferred.
