Job Opportunity: Lecturer Pool in Criminal Justice

We are seeking qualified candidates to join our lecturer pool in the Division of Criminal Justice. As a lecturer, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of courses, including introduction to criminal justice, law enforcement/investigations, justice administration, criminology theory and research methods, law and courts, corrections, offenders and offenses, and community and justice system.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in the Division of Criminal Justice
  • Develop and implement course materials and assessments
  • Provide academic advising and support to students
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in criminal justice, criminology, social sciences, law or related fields/disciplines
  • Prior teaching experience at the college level
  • Ability to teach a variety of courses and adapt to changing curriculum needs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctoral degree in criminal justice, criminology, social sciences, law or related fields/disciplines
  • Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
