About the Role
We are looking to expand our Miner Maintenance Team by adding a Bitcoin Miner Repair Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Bitcoin mining equipment. This position will provide essential support to our Miner Maintenance Team.
Essential Functions
- Conduct basic diagnostic assessments on all mining equipment
- Execute fundamental repair procedures on all mining devices
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of miners, components, and tools
- Identify IP addresses for newly installed machines
- Provide comprehensive information for work orders to the Supervisor
- Ensure the repair area and workspace are clean and organized
- Create new RJ-45 connections
- Demonstrate confidence in using industry-specific terminology
- Exceptional multitasking capabilities
- Ability to perform under pressure with minimal oversight
- Strong problem-solving aptitude
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to promptly address significant errors in the Data Center related to the Miner Maintenance team
- High School Diploma or GED or relevant experience
- Preferred experience in Networking and Computer troubleshooting
- Computer literacy is essential
- On-the-job training will be provided
- Any Miner repair/Operator Certification is advantageous
- Experience in networking is beneficial
- 12-hour shifts
- Holidays
- Night shifts
- Overnight shifts
- Weekends as needed
