Position Overview:
As a travel nurse specializing in ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in critical care nursing.
Job Specifications:
~ Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
~ Discipline: RN
~ Duration: 13 weeks
~ Hours: 36 hours per week
~ Shift: 12-hour night shifts
~ Employment Type: Travel
Shift Details:
Night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, working 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications:
~ Valid Louisiana RN License
~ Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience
~ Proficiency in telemetry
~ Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
~ Completion of Arrhythmia and EKG exams required
Additional Information:
EMR: Meditech
Facility Size: 26 beds
Patient Demographics: Adult patients
RN to Patient Ratio (Nights): 1:2; occasionally 1:3 based on patient acuity.
Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients as needed.
