Geospatial Data Collector and Project Lead

At Colliers Engineering & Design, we are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Data Collector and Project Lead to join our Survey/Geospatial team. This role offers a unique opportunity to collect data from the air, ground, and subsurface, providing precision data interpretation and accelerating your success in becoming a leading industry professional.
About the RoleThis position may involve leading a two or three-member crew, as well as working independently on projects. Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Leading crews on design and ROW surveys, utility surveys, 3D scanning, horizontal and vertical control surveys, construction layout, residential and commercial property surveys, topographic surveys, aerial ground control surveys, boundary and ALTA surveys.
- Utilizing data collectors, robotic instruments, conventional field note-keeping, total stations, and leveling to collect and record data.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in field surveying, with at least 5 years of experience as a Party Chief or equivalent knowledge.
- Proficiency in data collection techniques, including the use of data collectors, robotic instruments, and total stations.
- The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision once provided with a work assignment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
We offer a competitive salary range of $25.27-$51.45 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, we provide:
