Job Description

The Army National Guard is seeking highly skilled individuals to fill the role of Field Artillery Firefinder Radar Operator. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for operating specialized radar equipment to detect and track enemy targets, providing critical information to defensive units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain radio and wire communications
  • Construct bunkers and similar areas for other field artillery
  • Maintain Firefinder radar with scheduled checkups
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Field tactics and combat communications
  • Calculating/recording speed, direction, and altitude
  • Geometry and math skills
  • Ability to maintain focus for long periods of time

Requirements:
  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
  • Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
