Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team at Jabil. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for supporting the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing processes and supporting documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including process flows, deviations, and assembly request forms.
  • Assist Process Engineers in collecting, preparing, and analyzing data to drive process improvements.
  • Design and procure tooling, including stencils, pallets, and fixtures, to support manufacturing operations.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to prevent manufacturing issues, improve quality yields, and enhance processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis of manufacturing issues and support corrective action.
  • Conduct time studies of manufacturing processes and compile results for Process Engineers.
  • Support Process Engineers in process development, including creating profiles, programming equipment, and executing equipment qualifications.
  • Coordinate and execute calibration and verification activities for assigned tooling and gauges.
  • Provide on-call support to resolve engineering-related issues outside of normal business hours.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of related engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical knowledge and experience required; Microsoft Office skills necessary.
