Job Title: Integration Lead Engineer

SciTec is seeking a highly skilled Integration Lead Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for our software projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for software projects
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring infrastructure using tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
  • Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and performance
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Implement and enforce best practices for security and compliance
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to our DevOps processes and tools
  • Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve developer experience
  • Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, physical sciences, mathematics, or similar field
  • At least five years professional experience designing and developing application container deployment solutions using Docker, Docker-compose, Kubernetes, etc.
  • At least five years professional experience and fluency in one or more of the following languages: C++, Python
  • At least three years professional experience building and executing DevOps or DevSecOps solutions using Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) such as Gitlab-ci and/or Jenkins
  • At least three years ongoing experience using Linux operating systems to develop software
  • Strong experience maintaining deployment environments for development, test, and production
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work full-time in-person in Boulder, CO office location
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Preferred Skills:
  • Advanced degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science
  • Experience with OpenShift
  • Experience implementing features of C++ 14, 17, and 20 standards
  • Professional experience with Agile software development
  • Current active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher

SciTec offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 3% Fully Vested Company 401K Contribution, 100% company-paid HSA Medical insurance, and more.

The pay range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000 per year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
