Global Workday Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Workday Manager to lead the architecture, configuration, testing, and delivery of Workday solutions on a global scale. This role will be responsible for owning the ongoing configuration and maintenance of the Workday HRIS platform, including system updates, improvements, integrations, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and training to HR users, addressing issues and optimizing workflows within Workday.
  • Lead all Workday procedures, training materials, workflows, and policies to ensure process and methodologies are followed.
  • Review mass data updates, exports, imports, and research/report on any data discrepancies with the ability to use Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) as needed.
  • Lead upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation, and systems performance as well as analyze software releases to assess impact of new features.
  • Project management and ownership for future build outs of Workday functionality including defining requirements, configuring solutions, leading testing and validation, documenting process change, and training users on new processes and tools.
  • Proactively plan for system upgrades, which includes partner management, change planning, and communication.
  • Build effective communications and training for users to optimize the efficiency of systems and tools; work with SME in the different business groups to ensure alignment and delivery of the best solution.
  • Create and maintain Business Processes to ensure accountability and efficiency.
  • Build dashboards for business leaders to measure key human capital metrics (headcount, turnover, cost of workforce, mobility, performance, etc.); including summary interpretation of trends and key indicators as requested.
  • Configure and provide project-related support in coordinating and implementing yearly processes (i.e. talent management, performance management, compensation/merit cycles, etc).
  • Act as a domain SME to resolve all Workday-related discrepancies and provide problem resolution and guidance on complex or high-priority Workday issues.
  • Build and lead vendor integrations for all functions throughout the company and solving any failures or errors as they arise.
  • Audit HRMS data regularly for accuracy.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining Workday security for all users in the organization.
Requirements:
  • Collaborative customer service approach, with good ability to build relationships, gain credibility, and partner across the organization and be effective at working within a remote/global work environment.
  • 8 years of demonstrable experience designing HRMS data architecture, structure, functions, and processes including experience with enterprise application tools.
  • 6+ years of experience designing and supporting Workday HCM application and integrations.
  • Global experience strongly preferred in India.
  • Proven understanding of multiple Workday applications including reporting and integration experience.
  • Data-driven approach experience with EIBs to export and import data.
  • Proficiency with Excel; including Pivot Tables, Macros, V-Look Up, etc.
  • Ability to create, deploy, and maintain Workday custom reports and dashboards. Completed Workday education or certification is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to identify, tackle, and resolve system issues.
  • Ability to multi-task and comfortable providing end-user support and functional training.
  • Microsoft Office; including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong HR and Payroll knowledge base with firm understanding of HR processes and data, especially as related to HR systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Salary: Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary for this position is: $119, $150,875.00
