We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Per Diem RN to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Per Diem RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and a passion for patient care.
- Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Emergency Room experience.
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN program and active unencumbered RN California state license.
- One year of Epic experience and one year of Telemetry experience.
- TNCC Certification and PALS Certification.
- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
