POSITION OVERVIEW

Accountable for ensuring the operational efficiency of machinery (which may encompass forklifts, lifting apparatus, and transport vehicles) across all Storage Facilities within a specified region.

Aid in maintaining a secure and tidy work environment, both internally and externally, for the designated area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize and execute maintenance tasks on lifting equipment utilizing diagnostic tools, gauges, and instruments; may also engage in welding activities. Preventive maintenance on forklifts may be required.
  • Document and uphold records of repairs and scheduled maintenance, providing updates to management as necessary.
  • May offer guidance to Drivers on the correct operation of lifting equipment to minimize unnecessary repairs.
  • When necessary, restore damaged containers to company standards and conduct minor carpentry and repair work within storage facilities.
  • Willingness to travel between storage facilities within the assigned region.
  • May undertake additional duties and responsibilities as directed.



QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience Criteria

  • High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience; experience in warehousing is advantageous.
  • Welding skills are preferred.
  • Basic to intermediate carpentry abilities.
  • Minimum of 3 years of repair experience (including forklift, hydraulic lift systems, vehicle maintenance, and small engine repair).
  • Forklift Operator Certification is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Adequate mathematical skills to perform necessary tasks.
  • Alternatively, a combination of education, training, or experience may be considered.
