Job Description

DC Supervisor

Job Summary

The DC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the distribution center, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes managing a team of warehouse staff, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks
  • Coordinate shipments and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking and reporting on inventory levels and movements
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior warehouse experience or training preferred
  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to management and team members
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on efficiency and productivity. The team member will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and may be occasionally exposed to high places, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.

Pay Details

$30.00 to $31.25 per hour
