Dishroom Attendant

The Dishwasher position is a vital part of our team at Germania Service Group Inc. As a Dishroom Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dish area, ensuring the efficient operation of industrial dishwashing equipment, and storing clean dishes in a sanitary manner.

• Maintain a Clean and Sanitary Environment
  • Ensure the kitchen work area, equipment, plates, and utensils are kept in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition.
  • Clean and maintain stations in accordance with good safety and sanitation practices.
• Assist with Kitchen and Equipment Maintenance
  • Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment.
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
• Provide Excellent Customer Service
  • Maintain a friendly, helpful, and positive attitude while at work, assisting other team members as needed.
• Ensure Safety and Sanitation Guidelines
  • Know and follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
  • Attend all company meetings and training sessions, as needed.
• Operate and Maintain Dishwashing Equipment
  • Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues.
• Dispose of Waste and Maintain Kitchen Areas
  • Scrape and pre-rinse food from dirty dishes and utensils, disposing in trash as appropriate and placing dishes in the dishwashing machine.
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand and/or machine.
  • Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster area, cleaning garbage cans and trash receptacles.
• Assemble and Maintain Dish Machine and Dish Pit Area
  • Assemble, maintain, and break down the dish machine and dish pit area.
• Sanitize the Kitchen and Floors Daily
  • Sanitize the kitchen and floors daily.

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
