Job Overview

POSITION TITLE: Environmental Field Technician

DEPARTMENT: Technical Services

LOCATION: Niagara Falls, New York

SALARY RANGE: $18 - $30 per hour

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A leading environmental remediation firm is seeking an Environmental Field Technician to assist with various projects in Niagara Falls, New York. The role may require occasional overtime and travel.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Conducting groundwater sampling
  • Performing laboratory analyses
  • Managing the operation of wastewater treatment systems
  • Engaging in physical tasks, including heavy lifting, and adapting to varying temperature conditions

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have prior experience with groundwater sampling techniques (such as low flow sampling) and chain of custody protocols. Additional preferred qualifications include:

  • Familiarity with laboratory procedures and/or water treatment system management
  • Reliability, organizational skills, and self-motivation
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
  • HAZWOPER certification is advantageous
  • A valid driver's license is required

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, prescription coverage, 401k, profit sharing, and a pension plan. Sevenson participates in E-Verify and will verify the identity and employment eligibility of all individuals hired to work in the United States.
