Acadia Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our clinical services at our Cove Forge BHS Treatment Facility in Williamsburg, PA. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for managing and providing clinical services to patients, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and policies to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Provide direct patient care and supervise other clinical staff, including physicians, nurses, and therapists.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve organizational goals.
- Manage budgets, billing, and spending to ensure financial sustainability.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Supervise and develop clinical staff, including physicians, nurses, and therapists.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and corporate regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
- Board certification in Psychiatry required.
- Previous experience as a Medical Director preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine by the state in which the facility operates.
- Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
