We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of Behavioral Health Advocate. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical part in supporting individuals experiencing substance use and mental health conditions.

Salary: $17.25 - $19.75/hour

About the Position

This position requires shift work and flexible scheduling, including weekends and evenings. The incumbent will provide supportive services to participants of the Crisis Stabilization and Triage Center, focusing on recovery and empowerment.

The ideal candidate will possess certification as a Certified Peer Specialist consistent with WAC 246-341 and current Washington State Department of Health agency affiliate counselor credentials. Experience with WRAP is preferred but training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide peer support and mentoring to individuals to promote hope and empowerment.
  2. Partner with participants to provide information about service options and the process of care.
  3. Obtain details and educate on advance directives to partner with the participant and to design and plan care.
  4. Assist in completing admission to the Center including orientation to the program, reviewing and storing personal property, room checks, and implementing contraband policy.
  5. Maintain a recovery environment by assisting with laundry, serving meals, and facilitating daily activities.

$52,800 - $59,600 per year (based on 40 hours/week)
