Job Title:

MATLAB Software Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled MATLAB software developer to join our team at Soft-World. The ideal candidate will have experience with Object-Oriented Programming in MATLAB and a strong understanding of radar tasking modeling.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Radar Tasking Model (RTM) software in MATLAB. This position requires a strong background in software development, as well as experience with radar performance modeling.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the RTM software in MATLAB
  • Collaborate with the RTM team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes
  • Work with the development team to integrate the RTM software with other systems

Requirements:

  • BS in STEM with 5 years relevant experience or 3 years with MS
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming in MATLAB
  • Experience with radar tasking modeling and performance modeling
  • Active TS clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Experience with Space Sensor Payloads
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Math
