Qualifications
A minimum of 1-year clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting is required.

Educational Requirements
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is required. RNs with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) must complete their BSN within five years of hire. BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is mandatory, and ACLS certification is strongly preferred (to be obtained within the first three months).

Licensure/Certification Requirements
  • Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Virginia or have the privilege to practice under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
