Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in our Medical Telemetry Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients with a variety of diagnoses, including cardiac, endocrinology, renal, and pulmonary conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care accordingly.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia or eligible to practice.
- More than 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills required.
