Position: Service Manager

Tech-24, a leader in Commercial Foodservice Repair, is seeking skilled candidates for the role of Field Service Manager. This position entails overseeing the daily operations of field service technicians. It is a dynamic, customer-focused role suited for individuals with a background in providing technical services, including refrigeration, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance through a field service network. Experience in facility maintenance management is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address customer-specific needs and projects
  • Supervise field service technicians and administrative support staff to ensure high standards of work, appearance, and professionalism
  • Collaborate with Dispatch to manage technician schedules and maintain effective communication between the office and field
  • Assess and evaluate the operational performance of technicians
  • Support the development of technicians' skills and assist in recruiting additional personnel as necessary
  • Review and authorize time-sheets for hourly employees
  • Understand contractual agreements and operational parameters for each contract and warranty customer

Qualifications:

  • Previous management experience is essential
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations
